A friend of mine needs to generate DCI-compliant files for theater distribution in Singapore. I'm researching tools we might use. Which is the best candidate for the task, this or asdcplib?

Thanks!

Gavin

Hello,

I would also like to do this. However, I would need to have 3D-support, can this library wrap a 3D-container somehow?

Disclaimer: I'm not a programmer, I'm a stereo image specialist, shooting a lot of stuff in stereo.

There's some interesting info here, which might be helpful (but doesn't totally answer your question):

From the looks of it, it shouldn't be hard for any authoring tool to flag content as 3-D, using whatever unratified mechanism has emerged. Finding out how it's flagged is the challenge.
