Hello,

I believe the question has been already asked, but could not find an answer.

Is it possible to wrap an image sequence into a an MXF using mxfwrap?

I took a look at the source and couldn't find support for it but I may be wrong or missing something.

In the case this functionality is missing, would it make sense to add it?

If you wanted to wrap a sequence of images into an MXF file you would need to either convert them first to a single video file of a supported format, or write your own essence source that supplied the images each time GetEssenceData() was called.

MXFplus does have this ability, but this is the extended non-free version supplied by Metaglue.
